About Us

VIDA FLORIDA: Voice of Indonesians in Florida is a non-profit organization based in Florida with members scattered throughout Florida. Founded on May 20th, 2013 to commemorate the 105th of The Indonesian National Awakening Day (Hari Kebangkitan Nasional), VIDA Florida dedicates to preserving, presenting, and promoting the diversity of Indonesia's heritage through educational, charitable and cultural activities of our magnificent arts, culture, foods, and Indonesia's beautiful places for the appreciation and education of current and future generations.

Our members, officers and directors are voluntary basis and NO membership fee

Who We Are

VIDA Florida has 4 departments:
VIDA Arts and Culture: Dedicated to promoting the indigenous arts and culture of Indonesia.
VIDA Foods: Dedicated to representing all the magnificent taste of Indonesian cuisine.
VIDA Travel: Dedicated to promote Indonesian tourist destinations and also sharing information about the amazing destinations of our VIDA's members travel. We share our experiences, views and opinions on each place we have visited.
VIDA Pictures: Dedicated to show the beauty and significant moments in VIDA members' LIFE in Florida.

2015, we added 3 new branches under VIDA Arts and Culture which we called VIDA LEARNING:
VIDA BAHASA (Indonesian Language)
VIDA TARI (Indonesian Traditional Dances)
VIDA ANGKLUNG (Traditional music instrument from West Java)
